March's Game (Scratchcard)

1. THE PROMOTER

The promoter is: Wago Limited (“Promoter”, “Wago”, “us”, “our”) with company number 02495884 of Triton Park, Swift Valley Industrial Estate, Rugby, Warwickshire, CV21 1SG.

The following terms and conditions apply to all competitions promoted by the Promoter on the Competition Website launched on or after 1st March 2024 (the “Terms”). These Terms form a binding contract between the Promoter and each individual who enters the competition (the “Entrant”, or “you”). Entry into any competition constitutes the Entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms you may not enter the competition.

Please check these Terms regularly to ensure that you understand the conditions that apply at the time you enter the competition. The Promoter may amend these Terms at any time by posting the amended Terms on the Competition Website, and you agree that you will be bound by any changes to these Terms from the date they are published on the Competition Website. If, however, you have already entered a competition, the changes will not apply to any entries that you have already submitted, but they will apply to any future entries that you submit after the date on which the change become effective.

To participate in this competition, you must be a professional working in the United Kingdom in the Electrician, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical Wholesaler Industry. The Promoter reserve the right for all Winners to provide proof that they are employed within one of these Industries.

The Splice Up Yor Life – Game 1 (Scratchcard) will be available to be played exclusively at the ELEX show, Alexandra Palace from 11.59pm on Wednesday 28^th February to 11.59pm on Thursday 29^th February on the WAGO Stand. This stand can locate at PB60.

The Splice Up Your Life – Game 1 (Scratchcard) will then be available outside of the show from 11.59pm on Thursday 29^th February to until 11.59pm Sunday 31^st March 2024.

Qualifying customers can play ‘Scratchard’ until 31^st March at 23.59pm, there will be a total of 650 prizes available. This will average out to 21 prizes per day to be won through the month of March.The game will close when one of the following events occur:

The close date of 31^st March 23:59 has been reached

or

All 650 prizes have been won throughout the month of March.

Any attempted plays after the closing date will be invalid and illegible for a prize.

The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom, (including Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland but excluding Republic of Ireland) over the age of 18, Except for WAGO and employees, and families or anyone directly connected with the organisation, and operators of its brands and concessions. The competition is open to authorised distributors of WAGO products within this region.

The game is Free to Play and no purchase is necessary. Entrants will need to enter by visiting the website – www.spliceupyourlife.com Entrants will then be requested to provide the following information: Title, first name, surname, email address, mobile number and what industry they work within. (what best describes you).

Entrants are entitled to one play of the game only.

The prizes consists of the following, prize T&Cs further down this page. Prizes will be awarded based on an equal distribution across the active month e.g. (650 prizes split across 32 days) WAGO’s decision is final and binding in all respects on all entrants and no correspondence will be entered into.

We reserve the right to provide alternative prize(s) of equal or greater value in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

We reserve the right to exclude any entries which we believe to be inappropriate, fraudulent or based on misconduct.

The prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part.

Winners of an online prize will see details of their prize and details on how to redeem it instantly on screen. A confirmation email will also be sent to the email used on the entry form to allow users to access their prize at any time. Winners of an offline prize will be contacted with 5 working days to obtain delivery details. Delivery will be made within 14 working days of the address being supplied. The delivery address must be supplied within 7 days of the closing date of the competition.

The decisions of the promoter are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

By taking part in this promotion, all participants consent to us collecting, storing and using their personal data submitted with their entry for the purposes of this promotion.

The promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend without notice this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside of its reasonable control.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with the Promotion except
that (i) residents of Scotland may also bring proceedings in Scottish Courts.

2. Winner disqualification

An Entrant or winner may be ineligible to receive the Prize(s) and/or disqualified for the following reasons:

failures to meet all of the eligibility requirements stated in these Terms;
failures to abide by these Terms, the Privacy Notice, or Terms of Use;
failure to provide a valid email address at the time of entry;
failure to timely respond to the email notifying the Entrant of their being a potential winner;
the Promoter, having made all reasonable attempts to do so, is unable to contact the Entrant;
the Promoter is unable to verify the identity and verification of the Entrant to its reasonable satisfaction;
failure to complete or provide documentation requested by the Promoter in a timely manner;
the provision of false, incomplete and/or misleading information to the Promoter or any of the other Prize provider;
the commission of any fraud or deception in connection with any Prize award, use of the Competition Website, and/or relationship with the Promoter;
acting in a threatening, abusive, or harassing manner, at any time before or during the awarding of the Prize(s), by the Promoter and/or any of its personnel;
inability to timely accept the Prize(s) for any reason, including, but not limited to, inability to travel to the location where the Prize(s) is being fulfilled and/or delivered, and/or injury or death; and
the inability of the Promoter to timely award or otherwise fulfil the Prize(s) due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.

3. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by the Promoter or their agent’s negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability which the Promoter is unable to exclude or restrict liability by law.

The Promoter makes no representation or warranty that the competition will be free from errors or omissions, or be available and uninterrupted at all times throughout the Entry Period. The competition may be suspended and without notice if there is a technical issues with any hardware or software required for the proper running of the competition. The Promoter accepts no liability for any modification or discontinuance of the competition.

The Promoter shall not be liable to you in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise arising for:

any direct financial loss, loss of income, profits, or revenue;
loss of opportunity, goodwill, business or contracts;
loss of, damage to, or corruption, of data;
loss arising from disclosure of confidential information;
loss arising from or in connection with use of the Service or inability to use or access the Service or a failure, suspension or withdrawal of all or part of the Service; or
indirect or consequential loss of any kind.

4. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY

The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the privacy policy. See also condition 5e and condition 5f, with regard to the announcement of winners.

5. GENERAL

If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
If a court invalidates some of this contract, the rest of it will still apply. If a court or other authority decides that some of the provisions in these Terms are unlawful, the rest will continue to apply.
We can transfer our contract with you, so that a different organisation is responsible for the competition. We'll tell you in writing if this happens and we'll ensure that the transfer won't affect your rights under the contract.
Nobody else has any rights under these Terms. If an Entrant enters into the competition, these Terms form a contract between the Entrant and the Promotor. Nobody else can enforce it and neither the Entrant or the Promotor will need to ask anybody else to sign-off on ending or changing it.
The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any Entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in England and Wales.
